BITSAT 2023 : Registration date extended

The online registration date for BITSAT 2023 has been extended by the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for BITSAT  2023 (A Computer Based Online Test for Admission to Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS Pilani for the Academic Year 2023-24) till 15th April 2023

ELIGIBLITY 

The Candidates who have passed the 12th examination from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply for all Programmes except B.Pharma, However for the B.Pharma the candidate should have pursued Physics, Chemistry, Biology, The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks, Students who are appearing for the 12th examination in 2023 are also eligible to apply

EXAM PATTERN

A candidate may appear a maximum of two times in BITSAT 2023, The BITSAT 2023 examination to be organized in two sets of dates, BITSAT Session 1 and BITSAT Session 2, separated by a gap of a few weeks. To take the test, the candidate can choose the Center, the Day, and slot of their convenience

Each session of BITSAT-2023 will be of 3 hours duration (without break), comprising 4 parts, 

Part I : Physics
Part II : Chemistry
Part III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning
Part IV : Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates)

All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions) each question with a choice of 4 answers, only 1 being correct choice. Each correct answer gets 3 marks, while each incorrect answer a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark), No marks are awarded for questions not attempted, There is no time limit for individual parts of the test. The candidate can go back and change any of the answers among the 130 questions

APPLICATION FEES

The candidate who chooses to appear for BITSAT 2023 twice will have to pay fees of Rs 5400 (for a male candidate) and Rs 4400 (for a female candidate), However if candidate who opts to appear once (Session 1 or Session 2), will pay a fee of Rs 3400 (for a male candidate) and Rs 2900 (for a female candidate)

IMPORTANT DATES

The last date to apply for BITSAT 2023 is 9th April 2023, Candidates to reserve Test date and slot from 27th April to 8th May 2023, Admit cards to be released on 10th may 2023, Session I is scheduled to be held from 22nd May to 26th May 2023
