The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the schedule for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) Joint Entrance Examination 2025. The exam will be conducted in two phases across multiple districts of Bihar to accommodate the large number of applicants aspiring to become elementary school teachers.
Bihar DElEd 2025 Phase 1 Exam Schedule
The Bihar DElEd first phase exam 2025 will be held from August 26 to September 13, 2025. The examination will take place in two shifts daily at designated centres in Patna, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Kaimur, Arwal, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, Nawada, and Gaya.
- First Shift Timing: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for general candidates.
- Differently-abled candidates will get an additional 20 minutes, allowing them time till 12:50 pm.
- Second Shift Timing: 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm for general candidates.
- Differently-abled candidates will be allowed till 4:50 pm.
Candidates are required to report to the exam centre by 12:30 pm, as the gates will close strictly at 1:30 pm. BSEB has advised all applicants to carry their admit card and valid ID proof for verification.
Bihar DElEd 2025 Phase 2 Exam Schedule
The Bihar DElEd second phase exam 2025 will be conducted from September 14 to September 27, 2025, across a larger number of districts to ensure wider coverage. The exam centres for Phase 2 will include Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Sitamarhi, Vaishali, Madhubani, Darbhanga, East Champaran, West Champaran, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Begusarai, Khagaria, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Jamui, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Katihar, Purnea, Araria, Kishanganj, Supaul, Saharsa, and Madhepura.
- First Shift Timing: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm for general candidates.
- Differently-abled candidates will get an extension of 20 minutes, ending at 3:50 pm.
- Second Shift Timing: 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm for general candidates.
- Differently-abled candidates will be allowed till 6:50 pm.

The BSEB has issued guidelines to ensure smooth conduct of the Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2025:
- Candidates must report to the exam centres well in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
- Entry after the gate closure time will not be permitted under any circumstances.
- Electronic gadgets, study materials, and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- All candidates must adhere to the BSEB exam day guidelines to avoid disqualification.
