Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released a revised schedule for the postgraduate mop-up round admissions 2025-26, extending the reporting and seat allotment dates. The decision aims to provide students with additional time to complete their admission process and ensure smooth seat allocation.

According to the updated notification, candidates are required to report physically at their respective departments or centres between September 6 and September 8, 2025.
Following the physical reporting, the merit declaration and seat allotment will now be updated on departmental notice boards on September 10, 2025, at 4 PM. Earlier, the allotment was scheduled for September 8, 2025.
The vacant seat list for the BHU PG 2025 mop-up round was already issued on September 4, 2025, a day later than the initially planned September 3, 2025.
The official notice reads:
“The University has extended the dates for the candidates to participate in the Mop-Up round admission process and physically report to the respective Department at the Main Campus of Banaras Hindu University. The eligibility criteria and other details remain unchanged. Consequently, the subsequent dates have been revised.”
BHU PG 2025 Mop-Up Round: Revised Fee Payment Process
The university has also announced changes in the fee payment schedule. As per the revised plan:
- The fee payment link will be active on the student portal from September 12, 2025, at 6 PM.
- Students must complete the fee payment within 48 hours of the result being declared on the portal.
Earlier, the fee payment link was scheduled to go live on September 11, 2025.
