The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka, has announced free coaching for UPSC and Banking Competitive Examinations for the academic year 2025–26. This initiative is aimed at supporting and empowering eligible students from backward classes to excel in prestigious government job examinations.
As per the official notification, online applications are invited from candidates belonging to Category 1, 2A, 3A, and 3B who have successfully completed their Undergraduate (UG) degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The application window opens on 26th May 2025, and the last date for submission of the online application is 15th June 2025.
The coaching will be offered in both offline and online modes, ensuring greater accessibility for students across Karnataka, especially those from rural and remote areas. This blended approach enables aspirants to choose the mode of learning that suits their convenience and circumstances best.
It is important to note that no stipend or financial assistance will be provided to the selected candidates during the training period. The focus of the program is strictly on providing quality academic support and guidance to help candidates prepare effectively for the competitive exams.
This initiative by the Karnataka government reflects its commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunity. The UPSC and Banking Competitive Examination Training for the academic year 2025 – 264 to be given to the students belonging to Category 1, 2A, 3A, 3B, passed Under Graduation (UG) in any discipline from a recognised university, Annual family income of the candidates belonging to Category 1, 2A, 3A, 3B to be less than Rs 5 lakhs,
