The Asudev Art Scholarship 2025-26, offered by the Asudev Art Foundation, is a prestigious initiative designed to support young and emerging artists from Assam pursuing a Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Visual Arts. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Asudev Art Scholarship 2025-26, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen domiciled in Assam and currently residing in India.
- Must be under 28 years of age as of 31 December 2025.
- Must be a regular first-year or qualifying-year postgraduate/master’s student in Visual Arts, including Painting, Applied Arts, Sculpture, or Graphics, at a UGC-accredited institution in India located outside Assam and North-East India.
- Must not be receiving any other similar private or government scholarship during the application period.
- Previous applicants may reapply only with a new body of work.
- The award is restricted to one student each year.

Application Process and Important Dates
The online submission window for the scholarship opens on 15 August 2025 and closes on 20 September 2025. In addition, hard copy submissions containing all required documents must reach the foundation by 30 September 2025.
The screening process will be conducted from 1st to 5th October 2025, followed by selection and interviews (if necessary) from 5th to 15th October 2025. The award presentation ceremony is scheduled for 13 December 2025, where the selected artist will receive recognition and a platform to display their work.
