An appeal has been filed by the Private School organisations in the Supreme Court challenging the order given by the Karnataka High Court regarding conducting the 5th and 8th class Assessment examination 2023

The lawyers have requested the Supreme Court to conduct an urgent hearing regarding conducting the 5th and 8th std Assessment Examination, As the Karnataka State Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) has scheduled to conduct the 5th and 8th std Assessment Examination from 27th March to 1st April 2023

The Chief Justice of India (CJI) has said that he will conduct the inquiry regarding 5th and 8th std Assessment Examination on 27th March 2023,

As the Exams will start from 27th March 2023, the lawyer requested that the appeal be heard by then, But Chief Justice of India (CJI) D.Y Chandrachud rejected the lawyer’s request, Do not interfere with the order. The High Court knows what is best in the state.

The Private Schools organisations had approached the Karnataka High Court regarding the 5th and 8th std Assessment Examination, After hearing the appeal, the single bench quashed the order regarding conducting the 5th and 8th std Assessment Examination for the year 2023, However the Karnataka State Government made an appeal to the Division Bench, the division bench gave the green signal to conduct the 5th and 8th std Assessment Examination, Karnataka State Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) released the revised time table to conduct the examinations from 27th March to 1st April 2023
