The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), has officially released the admission schedule for two-year intermediate courses for the academic year 2025-26. According to the official notification, the second-year intermediate admissions will commence on 1st April 2025, while first-year intermediate admissions will begin on 7th April 2025.

RESERVATION GUIDELINES
The BIEAP has directed all college principals to strictly adhere to the reservation policy while granting admissions. The category-wise reservation cut-off is as follows:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 6%
- Backward Classes (BC): 29% (A-7%, B-10%, C-1%, D & E-4%)
- Children with Special Needs (CWSN): 3%
- NCC, Sports & Extracurricular Activities: 5%
- Ex-servicemen & Defense Personnel Residing in AP: 3%
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10%
Additionally, 33.33% of the total seats must be reserved for girls in institutions where no separate colleges exist for them.
ADMISSION PROCESS AND GUIDELINES
Admissions will be conducted strictly based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. No entrance tests will be conducted for admissions. The board has also warned junior colleges against adopting any alternative admission criteria, stating that strict action will be taken against institutions violating these guidelines.
To streamline the admission process, the UDISEPLUS portal will be enhanced to automatically pull student data from SSC records when applying for Intermediate 1st Year. For 2nd Year Intermediate students, the portal will facilitate an easy transition from 1st year to 2nd year.
