Following the launch of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has formally inaugurated Adi Karmayogi Student Chapters at some of India’s most prestigious institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and several leading universities. This flagship initiative seeks to empower tribal youth by equipping them with the tools to become future leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

Institutions interested in participating can apply to establish Adi Karmayogi Student Chapters through the official portal at adiprasaran.tribal.gov.in. To ensure effective coordination, the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Cell at IIT Delhi will function as the nodal hub for this pan-India programme. The aim is to bridge premier academic institutions with tribal communities, thereby fostering leadership and innovation among tribal students.
Objectives of Adi Karmayogi Student Chapters
