KMDC, Karnataka invite applications for Direct Loan for Business / Enterprises 2025

The Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation (KMDC) has invited applications for the Direct Loan for Business/Enterprises Scheme 2025, a program designed to empower entrepreneurs from minority communities. The scheme provides substantial financial assistance to eligible applicants to start new businesses or expand existing enterprises by mortgaging property as security.

Key Features of the Direct Loan Scheme 2025

The KMDC Direct Loan for Business/Enterprises 2025 offers loans based on the applicant’s family income category:

  • For applicants with a family income below ₹8.00 lakhs, loans up to ₹20 lakhs will be provided at an interest rate of 4%.
  • For applicants with a family income between ₹8.00 lakhs and ₹15 lakhs, loans up to ₹20 lakhs will be sanctioned at 6% interest rate.

Loans are provided only against the mortgage of property (building or land), and the property value must not be less than the loan amount requested. This ensures both financial discipline and the availability of sufficient collateral security for the corporation.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the KMDC Direct Loan for Business/Enterprises 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Must be a resident of Karnataka State.
  2. Must belong to a religious minority community.
  3. Age should be between 18 to 55 years.
  4. The applicant must not be a defaulter of KMDC.
  5. Loan will be provided only on the mortgage of property (building/land).
  6. The property mortgaged must have a value not less than the loan amount.
  7. Only one member per family can avail the business/enterprise loan.

Documents Required

Applicants must submit the following documents while applying for the scheme:

  • Copy of Aadhaar Card (residential proof).
  • Caste/Minority Certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Income Certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Property-related documents such as Lease deed/Partition deed/Release deed/Gift deed/Sale deed.
  • Project Report/Profile of activities prepared by a Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Quotations related to the proposed business project.
  • License from respective authorities related to the mortgaged property.
  • Khata extract and Khata certificate (for buildings) or Mutation copy (for lands).
  • Phodi/Partition deed with Phani-RTC for revenue lands.
  • Encumbrance Certificate (EC)/Form No.15.
  • Up-to-date Tax Paid Receipt from local bodies.
  • Guidance value certificate of the land from the competent authority.
  • Family tree with No Objection Certificate (NOC) from family members to mortgage the property.
  • Self-Declaration Form.
  • In case of mortgaging a building, a Valuation Report/Valuation Certificate from a registered valuer.
