HARVARD RADCLIFFE FELLOWSHIP 2026-27 ELIGIBILITY
The program is open to applicants from humanities, social sciences, sciences, engineering, mathematics, and creative arts. However, each category has specific eligibility criteria:
Humanities and Social Sciences
- Doctorate or terminal degree (PhD, MD, JD) received at least four years before appointment (i.e., by December 2022).
- Published a monograph or at least two refereed journal articles or edited collections.
Science, Engineering, and Mathematics
- Doctorate received by December 2022.
- Minimum of five refereed journal publications.
Creative Arts
- Film & Video: Independent work exhibited in galleries, festivals, or television.
- Visual Arts: At least five years of professional experience, participation in curated group shows, and two solo exhibitions.
- Fiction & Non-Fiction: At least one published book, a signed book contract, or three substantial published works.
- Poetry: 20 poems or one poetry book published in the past five years, with ongoing manuscript development.
- Journalism: Minimum of five years of professional journalism experience.
- Playwriting: Produced or optioned plays with significant recognition.
- Music Composition: Strong professional achievements with recent performances (PhD or DMA preferred, but not mandatory).
Fellowship Benefits
Selected Harvard Radcliffe Fellows 2026-27 will receive:
- Stipend: $78,000 (approx. ₹68,24,248).
- Project expenses: $5,000 (approx. ₹4,37,550).
