Students of both Class 10 and Class 12 can access the private application form on the official website. The exams for private candidates will be conducted along with the board’s main examinations in 2026.
The last date to submit the CBSE private exam form 2026 without a late fee is September 30, 2025. After this, students can still apply with a late fee from October 3 to October 11, 2025.

Who Can Apply for CBSE Private Exams 2026?

- Students from the 2024-25 session who were declared “essential repeat” in the 2025 exam results.
- Students from the 2024-25 session who were placed under the compartment in the board’s main or supplementary exams in 2025.
- Candidates who were declared failed or essential repeat in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- Passed-out students of 2024-25 who wish to improve their performance in one or more subjects.
