Next Steps for Selected Candidates
Candidates who have been allotted seats in the CAP Round 1 must now complete the physical joining process at their allotted colleges. This includes filling out the status retention form, submitting all original documents, and paying the admission fees.
The joining process is scheduled from August 14 to August 22, 2025 (excluding August 15, which is a national holiday).
The CET Cell has outlined the following instructions:
“Candidates as per allotment should report along with all original certificates and a set of attested photocopies of each document as per NEET UG 2025 brochure, at allotted college as per the schedule.
The Dean/Principal should verify all the original documents before finalizing the admission. Candidate will have to compulsorily join the college and course so allotted, within prescribed period as per schedule by completing the requisite formalities. i.e., submission of all original documents and a set of attested photocopies of each document as per the list given in NEET-UG 2025 Information Brochure and payment of requisite fees in respective institution.”
Failure to complete the joining process within the prescribed dates will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.

- Open the admission portal for the 2025-26 academic year
- Navigate to the Undergraduate Courses section and select NEET UG

Parallel Updates from MCC
While the Maharashtra CET Cell has released its state quota allotment results, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has also announced the Round 1 seat allotment results for MBBS and BDS admissions under the All India Quota (AIQ). Candidates allotted seats through MCC counselling can also report to their respective institutions starting August 14.
