The NextGen Edu Scholarship Program 2025-26, an initiative by EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS), is a commendable effort to uplift meritorious and financially underprivileged students across India. Launched in collaboration with Buddy4Study, this program is designed to reduce dropout rates after Class 10 by offering essential financial assistance and encouraging students to continue their academic journey.
The scholarship offers a one-time financial aid of ₹15,000 to deserving students who have passed Class 10 with at least 60% marks and are currently enrolled in Class 11 at any government or private school in India. The amount can be used to meet academic and living expenses, ensuring students remain focused on their studies rather than being burdened by financial hardships.
To qualify, applicants must belong to families with an annual income not exceeding ₹3 lakh from all sources. Special consideration will be given to students from Karnataka, Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. The program is also inclusive and strongly encourages applications from girls, transgender individuals, orphans, persons with disabilities, and children of single parents.
However, children of employees from EY GDS and Buddy4Study are not eligible for the scholarship, maintaining fairness and transparency in the selection process. The deadline for application submission is 10th September 2025.
