The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS), established in 1995 by the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust, is a vital initiative aimed at empowering economically disadvantaged students across India. Specifically designed to support those pursuing job-oriented Diploma courses in recognized government polytechnic institutions, this scholarship has impacted thousands of lives by enabling access to skill-based education.
Each year, 550 deserving students are selected under this program, receiving ₹10,000 per annum for a maximum of three years. Since its inception, over 12,940 students from both rural and urban backgrounds have benefited from this opportunity, helping them secure better employment prospects through technical education.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To apply for the MAITS 2025-26, candidates must:
- Have passed SSC/HSC or equivalent examinations (10th/12th standard) with more than 60% marks.
- Be admitted to the first year of a Diploma course in a government or recognized Polytechnic Institute.
- Belong to a family with low annual income, thus requiring financial assistance.
PREFERENCE CATEGORIES
Special preference is given to:
- Girls
- Students from low-income families
- Differently abled students
- Children of armed forces personnel or Central Armed Police Forces

Applications must be submitted online via the official portal. Candidates should prepare and upload all required documents beforehand to ensure a smooth application process.
