Since 2021 Parakram Diwas has been celebrated annually honoring Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, commemorating the birth anniversary of the iconic freedom fighter, on the Parakram Diwas in 2021, the inaugural event was held at Victoria Memorial Hall, Kolkata.
On Parakram Diwas programme in 2022, a hologram statue of Netaji was unveiled at India Gate, in the year 2023, 21 largest unnamed islands of Andaman & Nicobar Islands were named after the 21 Param Vir Chakra awardees and a model of National Memorial dedicated to Netaji which supposed to be built on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep was unveiled, On Parakram Diwas programme in 2024 the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to digitally launch Bharat Parv, being organized by the Ministry of Tourism to showcase the nation’s diversity with Republic Day Tableaux and cultural exhibits

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was born on 23rd January 1897, in Cuttack, Orissa Division, Bengal Province, His parents were Prabhavati Dutt Bose and Janakinath Bose. In 1919,Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose cleared the Indian Civil Services (ICS) examination, He was highly influenced by his spiritual Guru Vivekananda’s teachings, His political mentor was Chittaranjan Das
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose stood for unqualified swaraj (independence), and opposed the Motilal Nehru Report, participated in the Salt Satyagraha of 1930, he won the congress presidential elections at Haripura in 1938, He founded a new party the Forward Bloc, He reached Japanese-controlled Singapore from Germany in July 1943, formed Azad Hind Government and the Indian National Army on 21st October 1943
