Karnataka State Govt announced 5 Guarantees

Senior Congress Party leaders Siddaramaiah took oath today as Karnataka Chief Minister and D K Shivakumar as the Deputy Chief Minister along with 8 Cabinet Ministers, the oath ceremony was attended by Several prominent opposition leaders, the Congress swept Karnataka General Elections bagging 135 seats in the state At the Oath taking ceremony top leaders announced the Congress party is committed to implementing the five guarantees,

In first Cabinet meeting Congress five poll guarantees were discussed and technically accepted for implementation

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after holding the the first cabinet meeting announced implementation of 5 Poll Guarantees, He added after next cabinet meeting guidelines related to it will be released 

5 GUARANTEES

The Congress party five poll guarantees are

• Gruha Jyothi under which all households will get free electricity up to 200 units,
• Gruha Lakshmi under it the party announced to give Rs 2,000 to the woman head of every family,
• Anna Bhagya Under it 10 kg rice to every BPL member a month to be provided,
• Yuva Nidhi Under it unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000 for Graduates and Rs 1,500 to Diploma holders to be given
• Shakti – Under it the free bus travel for women of Karnataka across Karnataka to be provided,

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced Yuva Nidhi – the unemployment allowance for two years (Rs 3,000 for Graduates and Rs 1,500 to Diploma holders) will be provided, orders related to it will be released after next cabinet meeting, likely next week
