It is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical – Integrated Learning Mission (ILM), to provide the financial assistance to the meritorious students belonging to the low income families to ensure the continuity of their education.
SBI Foundation is the CSR arm of the State Bank of India, It believes in reflecting the ethos of the SBI group, in running interventions that are ethical, promote growth and equality, and get create a positive impact on the society
ELIGIBILITY
Under the SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2023 the students pursuing first year of undergraduate studies from top NIRF universities / colleges and the students of IITs, MBA / PGDM from IIMs, and Ph.D are eligible to receive a scholarship of up to Rs 5 lakh for 1 year
SELECTION
The selection of scholars for the SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2023 will be made on the basis of their academic merit, financial background, Telephonic interview of shortlisted candidates and document verification, Upon selection in the final selection list the scholarship amount will be directly transferred into the bank account of the scholars,
