The Vidyadhan Scholarship Program, an initiative by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF), is committed to supporting the college education of academically talented students from economically disadvantaged families. ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION PROCESS
To be eligible for the Vidyadhan Scholarship:
The student must have completed 10th Grade/SSLC in 2025. Must have scored 90% or above or 9 CGPA in their 10th-grade exams. For students with disabilities, the cutoff is 75%. The family’s annual income must be less than Rs. 2 lakhs.
Applications must be submitted online through the official Vidyadhan portal. No fees are required, and no other agencies or individuals are authorized to process applications.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT AND COVERAGE
For 11th and 12th Grade, selected students receive up to Rs. 10,000 per year. Upon successful completion of 12th grade and continued academic excellence, students are eligible for degree-level scholarships ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 75,000 per year, depending on the state, course, and duration.
Scholarships are either provided directly by the Foundation or through external sponsors registered with SDF.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is rigorous and transparent:
Applications are screened based on academic merit and socio-economic background. Shortlisted students are invited for a test and an interview, conducted online.
Final selections are made based on performance in the assessment and interview.
MENTORING AND SUPPORT
Beyond financial aid, Vidyadhan provides structured mentoring programs to help students develop confidence, leadership, and academic skills. Attendance at mentoring sessions is mandatory for scholarship recipients.

Applicants must upload the following scanned documents:
- 10th-grade marksheet (provisional/online copy acceptable if original not available).
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Income certificate from a competent authority (ration card not accepted).

The program supports around 8000 students across 18 Indian states and UTs, including Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Bihar, and more.
