Applications are invited exclusively from eligible female candidates seeking admission to nursing institutes across Assam. Selection will be made through an Entrance Examination conducted by SSUHS.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be considered for admission, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
Educational Qualification

- Passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the University.
- Hold a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certificate.
- Registered as R.N.R.M. (Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife) with the respective State Nurses Registration Council.
EXAMINATION PATTERN
- Type: Objective-type questions (MCQs)
- Syllabus: Based on the GNM syllabus prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council (INC)
- Total Questions: 50
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
- General / EWS (Management Quota): Minimum 20th percentile
- General / EWS (Other Seats): Minimum 18th percentile
- SC / ST / OBC: Minimum 18th to 15th percentile
- PwD (Divyang): Minimum 15th percentile
