Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2023-24 to be issued by the Reserve Bank of India on behalf of the Government of India and restricted for sale to resident individuals, HUFs, Trusts, Universities and Charitable Institutions, Minimum permissible investment under the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2023-24 will be One gram of gold, For fiscal year the maximum limit of subscription shall be 4 Kg for individual, 4 Kg for HUF and 20 Kg for trusts and similar entities
Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24 (Series I) will be opened for subscription during the period from 19th to 23rd June 2023 with Settlement date 27th June 2023. As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) the issue price of the Bond during the subscription period shall be Rs 5,926 per gram
In consultation with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) the Government of India has decided to allow discount of Rs 50 per gram from the issue price to those investors who apply online and make the payment is made through digital mode.
For such investors the issue price of Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24 will be Rs 5,876 per gram of gold. Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24 (Series II) will be opened for subscription during the period from 11th to 15th September 2023 with Settlement date 20th September 2023.
Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24 will be sold through Scheduled Commercial banks, Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), Clearing Corporation of India Limited (CCIL), designated post offices, and recognised stock exchange, for more details CLICK HERE
