Presidency University invite applications for the Ph.D Program (full time or part time) in the areas of engineering, commerce, management, science, and the humanities, For meritorious full-time scholars Presidency University Research Fellowship up to Rs.20000 per month for the first two years and Rs.24000 per month for the third year is offered and also Fee concessions up to 30% of the annual fee is offered 

ELIGIBLITY 

Candidates with Master’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7 point scale are eligible to apply for the Ph.D Program (full time or part time) offered by the Presidency University or the Candidates with M.Phil. Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale in the M.Phil. Program coursework can also apply for Ph.D Program (full time or part time) offered by the Presidency University

SELECTION

Selection to be based on Ph.D. entrance test on an all-India basis, candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, or the minimum equivalent grade as decided by the university in the entrance test, to qualify for the interview or viva-voce, a comprehensive interview or viva-voce will be conducted to assess the candidate’s depth of knowledge in the area of interest, his or her understanding of the related disciplines, and his or her academic capability and aptitude for research
