The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has officially released a recruitment notification for 361 Apprentice posts under various categories for the year 2025. This is a golden opportunity for freshers and recent graduates/diploma holders/ITI candidates to gain industry-level training and enhance their career prospects through hands-on experience at one of India’s leading hydropower companies.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per government norms.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess qualifications in the relevant disciplines from recognized institutions:

• Graduate Level: B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech/B.E, LLB, BSW, BPT, M.A, MBA/PGDM, PG Diploma
• Diploma Level: Relevant engineering or technical diploma
• ITI Level: Certified ITI trade courses from NCVT/SCVT-approved institutions

Applicants must ensure they meet the specific eligibility conditions of the post they are applying for, as detailed in the official notification.

MONTHLY STIPEND:

• Graduate Apprentices: ₹15,000/- per month
• Diploma Apprentices: ₹13,500/- per month
• ITI Trades Apprentices: ₹12,000/- per month

These stipends are aligned with government apprenticeship guidelines and provide fair compensation during the training period.
