As India gears up to celebrate its 79th Independence Day, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, has announced a special Online Quiz Series to ignite patriotic spirit and national pride among citizens, especially the youth. This inspiring initiative aims to foster awareness about India’s rich legacy, resilience, and innovation through interactive knowledge-based engagement.
The quiz series consists of three thematic quizzes, each highlighting a vital aspect of India’s journey and contribution to nation-building:
Quiz on Role of Women in Shaping the New India: This quiz honors the legacy and achievements of Indian women – from fearless freedom fighters to contemporary changemakers. Participants will delve into stories of courage, leadership, and social transformation driven by women who have redefined India’s development narrative.
Quiz on Bharat Ranbhoomi – ‘Border of India’: Focusing on India’s strategic borders, this quiz sheds light on the bravery of those who guard them and the geographic and historical significance of India’s frontiers. It celebrates the armed forces and their unwavering commitment to the nation’s safety.
Quiz on Rise of Aatmnirbhar Innovation in National Security: Highlighting India’s strides towards self-reliance, this quiz explores the nation’s indigenous innovations in defence and national security—from advanced weaponry to cutting-edge technologies, reflecting the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
SALIENT FEATURES OF THE QUIZ SERIES
The quizzes will be available bilingually (Hindi and English), ensuring broad participation. Each quiz will last 5 minutes, during which 20 questions can be attempted.
No elimination rounds—participants can attempt all three quizzes, Winners will be declared based on combined performance across all three quizzes.
