IMPORTANT DATES
The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2023 online from till 5th August 2023, Examination is scheduled to be held on 3rd September 2023
The Candidates who aspire to get selected as Primary School Teacher (PST) or Graduate Primary Teacher (GPT) in Government Primary / Upgraded Primary Schools from Class 1 to 8 across the Karnataka State, to clear KARTET to be eligible for Teachers Selection Recruitment Exam,
ELIGIBLITY
Candidates who have Passed PUC / D.El.Ed are eligible to appear for Paper 1 for Class 1 to 5 While those who have passed Degree / D.El.Ed or B.Ed are eligible to appear for Paper 2 for class 6 to 8, a candidate who has been admitted in any of TTC and undergoing teacher training course (TTC) can be said to be pursuing such teacher training course and shall be eligible to appear in TET examination
APPLICATION FEES
Candidates belonging to General Category appearing for Paper 1 or 2 to pay Rs 700 application fees and candidates of reserved category to pay Rs 350, Candidates belonging to General Category appearing for both Paper 1 and 2 to pay Rs 1000 application fees and candidates of reserved category to pay Rs 500
