Karnataka State Primary and High Schools academic calendar 2023 – 24 released

Department of School Education and Literacy, Karnataka has released the notification regarding preparation of annual educational guidelines for the year 2023 – 24 for Government, aided and unaided primary and secondary schools of the state Syllabus

SCHOOL SCHEDULE

As per the Academic Calendar 2023 – 24 released by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Karnataka the Primary and High School First term School days are scheduled from 29th May to 7th October 2023, Dasara Holidays are scheduled from 8th to 24th October 2023

Second term School days are scheduled from 25th October 2023 to 10th April 2024, Summer Holidays are scheduled from 11th April to 28th May 2024,

In an academic year 2023 – 24 the 224 School days are scheduled, Admissions for the academic year 2023 – 24 to be done from 31st May to 30th June 2023, For the academic year 2023 – 24 textbooks to be utilised for teaching and students be evaluated in accordance with FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4, SA1 and SA2

2022 – 23 

For the academic year 2022 – 23 the Schools are directed to announce the results of 5th and 8th std on Samudayadatta School programme scheduled to be held on 8th April 2023 for High Schools and 10th April 2023 for Primary Schools, 

Schools are informed to enter the marks details of students from class 1 to 9 in SATS within 25th April 2023, On 14th April 2023 Dr B R Ambedkar Jayanthi to be celebrated in all the Schools, Summer Holidays been announced from 11th April to 28th May 2023

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES 2023 – 24

As per the Calendar of Events from the year 2023 – 24 for the students of class 1 to 3 Setubanda (Bridge Course) to be done from 1st to 30th June 2023, for students of Class 5, 8 and 10 Setubanda (Bridge Course) to be done from 15 days in Month of June 2023, for students of Class 4, 6, 7, 9 Setubanda (Bridge Course) to be done from 1st to 15th June 2023

EVALUATION SCHEDULE 2023 – 24

FA 1 is scheduled to be held in month of July 2023, FA 2 in month of September 2023, SA 1 is to be conducted in Month of September 2023, FA 3 is scheduled to be held in month of December 2023, FA 4 in month of February 2024 and SA 2 to be conducted in month of March 2024
