Karnataka State Government Extends last date to pass Computer Literacy Test (CLT) Examination

Computer Literacy Test (CLT) pass is mandatory for the Karnataka State Government Employees to get annual increment, declare of probationary period, promotions, The Karnataka State Government has extend the time given to pass Computer Literacy Test (CLT) examination till 31st December 2025.

In this regard the Under Secretary to the Government of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, Karnataka has issued a circular extending the time given to pass Computer Literacy Test (CLT) examination till 31st December 2025. Karnataka Civil Service (Computer Literacy Test) Rules 2012 have been formulated to make knowledge of computer use mandatory for the Karnataka State Government employees

The Computer Literacy Test (CLT) is conducted by the State Government or an agency approved by it and is currently being conducted by the Government approved agency KEONICS

Karnataka State Government Employees who do not clear the Computer Literacy Test (CLT) within 31st December 2025 will be ineligible for declaration of probationary period, promotion and annual pay increment, etc. Therefore the State Government employees who have not passed the Computer Literacy Test (CLT) have been instructed to take the test immediately and pass it
