Karnataka CM convenes significant meet tonight to discuss about Govt Employees indefinite Strike

The Karnataka State Government employees Association have called for a indefinite strike from tomorrow (1st March 2023) demanding the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission report and reverting to the Old Pension Scheme

Against this background, Chief Secretary C.S. Vandita Sharma had called a meeting to discuss with the Karnataka State Government Employees Association.

The Karnataka State Government Employees Association president C S Shadakshari said we told them that there is no question of withdrawing the strike, they have asked for time till evening.

In the background of it the Karnataka State Chief Minster Basavaraja Bommai had conducted an exercise to convince the Karnataka State Government employees to withdraw the call given for the indefinite strike from tomorrow (1st March 2023),

And now at 9.30 PM, Karnataka State Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai to hold an important meeting with the office bearers of the association to discuss regarding significant issues.

The indefinite strike call given by the State Government Employees from tomorrow (1st March 2023) will cause disruption in most of the services
