The online applications are invited for the JSW UMEED Scholarship 2024 – 25, Itis an initiative of JSW Foundation to support students who are at the risk of dropping out of education as they have very little no financial support for their further education owing to a COVID-led crisis (family financial) in their family.
Due to pandemic more than 1.5 million schools were closed which affected 247 million children enrolled in elementary and secondary schools, which further added to the risk of them slipping into child labor and unsafe migration.
JSW Umeed Scholarship program will assist such affected students with scholarships for them to continue their education without any hindrance.
ELIGIBLITY
Candidates who are studying in Per Primary, class 1 to 10, ITI, Diploma, Under Graduation from the recognised Boards / Universities / Institutions, have scored minimum 35% marks, have annual family income less than Rs 8 lakhs are eligible to apply
BENEFIT
The selected Pre Primary, Class 1 to 10, ITI, Diploma students under JSW UMEED Scholarship 2024 – 25 to get Rs 10,000 Scholarship for 1 year, While the selected Under Graduation students to get Rs 50,000 Scholarship for 1 year
