Joint CSIR UGC NET Exam June 2024 Registrations Now Open

National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited online applications for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June 2024 to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode

As per the notification released the online applications for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June 2024 can be submitted from 1st May 2024, Last date to submit online application is 21st May 2024, Last date for successful transaction of Examination fee is 21st May 2024, Corrections in the particular of the application form if any can be done from 222nd to 23rd May 2024, Date of released of admit card to be announced later,

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June 2024 to be held in Computer Based Test (CBT), the question paper to consist of objective questions (MCQ), Duration of the exam is 180 minutes, Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June 2024 Examination is scheduled to be held on 25th, 26th and 27th June 2024

The candidates belonging to General Category applying for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June 2024 to pay applications fees Rs 1150, While the candidates belonging to General (EWS) / OBC to pay Rs 600, SC / ST to pay Rs 325 and application fees for PwD candidates is exempted 

Candidates opting for Lectureship / Assistant Professor only as preference in their online application form will not be considered for JRF (even if the marks are above JRF cut-off).The validity of qualifying certificate of Lectureship/Assistant Professor is forever.

The stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR- National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs. 37,000 per month for the first two years. In addition, annual contingent grant of Rs. 20,000 is reimbursed directly to the fellow, On Completion of two years as JRF and if the Fellow is registered for Ph.D., the Fellowship will be upgraded to SRF (NET) and the stipend will be increased to Rs. 42,000 per month for the 3rd and subsequent years
