The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification regarding conducting the Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination December 2022 / June 2023

Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges,

STIPEND

The stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR- National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs. 31,000 per month for the first two years, On Completion of two years as JRF and if the Fellow is registered for Ph.D., the Fellowship will be upgraded to SRF (NET) and the stipend will be increased to Rs. 35,000 per month for the 3rd year and also for the subsequent years

ELIGIBILITY

The candidates with M.Sc. or equivalent degree / Integrated B.S-M.S/ B.S-4 years/ B.E/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR) /General-EWS and 50% for OBC (NCL) / SC / ST are eligible to apply 

AGE LIMIT

The maximum age limit for the JRF as on 1st July 2022 is 28 years and there is no upper age limit for the Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor

IMPORTANT DATES

The online applications for the Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination December 2022 / June 2023 can be submitted from 10th March to 10th April 2023, Last date for the payment of fees is 10th April 2023, Application form correction window will be opened from 12th to 18th April 2023, Examination is scheduled to be held on 6th, 7th and 8th June 2023 in Computer Based Test (CBT)

The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2022/ June 2023 Examinations will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and it will consist of 3 parts. All the parts will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers. The Paper will be in bilingual i.e. Hindi and English, As per the option entered in application form the candidates can answer the papers
