India posts invite submissions for the Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Competition, the India Post is a statutory body in India, under Department of Post, Ministry of Communications of the Government of India
The theme and topic for the competition is The Joy of Writing : Importance of Letters in a Digital age, The letter can be written in English, Hindi or any Vernacular
Participants will write a Letter expressing their views on the subject addressing to the Chief Postmaster General concerned which would be eligible for Cash awards if shortlisted first at Circle level and then Directorate level, The campaign will start from 14th September to 14th December 2024, Any citizen of India can participate in this competition. There is no minimum or maximum age prescribed for participation
The best 3 entries in each category will be shortlisted by every Circle and prize will be awarded at Circle level
PRIZES
Circle Level Category
- First prize : Rs. 25,000
- Second prize : Rs.10,000
- Third prize : Rs. 5,000
National Level Category
- First prize : Rs. 50,000
- Second prize : Rs. 25,000
- Third prize : Rs. 10,000
