The Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, has officially opened applications for its Postgraduate Teacher Education Programmes for 2025. Established under the Gujarat Government Act 8/2010 and envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, IITE is a pioneering State Public University exclusively dedicated to teacher education. PG PROGRAMMES AND ADMISSION PROCESS
Admissions to IITE’s postgraduate programmes are conducted through the i3T (Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee), a comprehensive online entrance exam. The test is designed to evaluate candidates’ aptitude for teaching, subject knowledge, reasoning, and communication abilities.

- Mock Test: 13th June 2025 (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
- i3T Exam: 14th June 2025 (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, online and proctored)
- Result Declaration: 16th June 2025
- 1st Round Counselling & Admission: 17th – 18th June 2025
- 2nd Round Counselling: 20th – 21st June 2025
- Programme Commencement: 23rd June 2025
ENTRANCE TEST DETAILS (I3T)
- Mode: Online (from home)
- Duration: 90-minute test (120 minutes total time)
- Minimum Qualifying Score: 50% (60 out of 120 marks)
Test Sections: General Knowledge, Numerical Reasoning, Communication Skills, ICT (Information and Communication Technology), Teaching Aptitude, Subject-Specific Content Knowledge
MERIT-BASED INCENTIVE
The top 5% of meritorious students scoring 75% or above in i3T and continuing their studies in the Centre of Education will be eligible for two-semester tuition fee waiver.
