I & II PUC reduced syllabus for the year 2023 – 24 released

The Department of Pre University, Karnataka has released the 1st year and 2nd year PUC reduced Syllabus for PCMB, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy for the year 2023-24

As per the reduce syllabus released the 1st and 2nd year PUC syllabus been reduced in the NCERT adopted subjects for PCMB, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy for the year 2023-24

In 1st year PUC Mathematics – Principle of Mathematical Induction, Mathematical Reasoning full chapters been dropped, In biology the chapter Digestion and Absorption been dropped, In Chemistry full chapter States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Hydrogen, s-Block Elements, Some p-Block Elements, Environmental Chemistry been dropped, whereas in PCMB, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy few concepts in some of the chapters been dropped

REDUCED SYLLABUS

In 2nd year PUC Biology chapter Reproduction in Organisms, Strategies for Enhancement in Food Production, Environmental Issues been dropped, In Chemistry the chapters The Solid State, Surface Chemistry, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements, The p-Block Elements, Polymers, Chemistry in Everyday life are dropped, whereas in PCMB, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy few concepts in some of the chapters been dropped
