The Department of Minority Welfare, Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka has extended the last date to submit online applications for the National Overseas Scholarship for the year 2023 – 24,

The Department of Minority Welfare, Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka has invited online applications for the National Overseas Scholarship for the year 2023 – 24

As per the notification released by the Department of Minority Welfare, Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka the online applications are invited from the students of minority community of the Karnataka State who are studying Master’s Course in the Overseas Universities for the academic year 2023-24, 

ELIGIBILITY

Students should belong to Karnataka State, Students must belong to minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi), Nature of course Master’s Course in the Overseas Universities for the academic year 2023-24 to be full time, The upper age limit of the student should not exceed 38 years, Annual income of family to be less than Rs 4 Lakhs 

BENEFIT

A total allowance of Rs 5 Lakh per annum and a maximum of Rs 10 lakh for the entire course will be awarded to the awardees

IMPORTANT DATES

The last date to submit the online application for National Overseas Scholarship for the year 2023 – 24 is 30th November 2023, the last date for submitting the hard copy of the application along with the required documents to be intimated shortly

DOCUMENTS

The documents required to apply for the National Overseas Scholarship for the year 2023 – 24 are Certified copies of fee receipts, Certified copy of the letter issued by the foreign university on his journey to join the course, Progress / Performance report from the concerned foreign university from time to time, Income / Caste Certificate,
