Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojana 2023-24 : Philately Written Quiz date announced

Department of Posts, Government of India has announced the Philately Written Quiz under Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojana 2023-24 (Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude and Research in Stamps as a Hobby) for the students of Class 6 to 9 who have already applied is scheduled to be held on 27th October 2023,

Department of Posts, Government of India has launched the Philately Scholarship Scheme Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojana 2023-24 (Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude and Research in Stamps as a Hobby) for the students of Class 6 to 9 for generating interest regarding Philately among the students

Students of Class 6 to 9 having good academic record and pursuing Philately as hobby will be awarded scholarship on the basis of Philately Quiz and Philately Project to be conducted at Karnataka Circle Level, the amount of scholarship is Rs 6000 per annum, at Rs 500 per month

Candidates studying in Class 6 to 9 in a recognised school in Karnataka having Philately Club or student having his own Philately Deposit account are eligible to apply 

Selection will be based on 2 levels – Philately Written Quiz and Philately Project, the Philately written quiz to be conducted by the Postal authorities on 30th September 2023, Last date for submission of application is 15th September 2023, Selected students at regional level to submit Philately project within 15 days of announcement of results for their final selections 

Philately Written Quiz to be Multiple Choice Based, the Quiz consist of 50 questions from Current Affairs, History, Science, Sports, Culture, Geography, Philately, the Philately project should not be more than 4 to 5 pages and not use more than 16 stamps and not more than 500 words
