Options Available in COAP 2026
During each round, candidates can choose from the following options:
- Accept and Freeze – Accept the offer and exit further rounds
- Retain and Wait – Keep current offer and wait for better one
- Reject – Decline the offer
Important rules:
- “Retain and Wait” can be used only twice for the same institute/programme
- If no option is selected → offer will be automatically rejected
- In Rounds 1–4 → Accept, Retain & Wait, Reject allowed
- In Round 5 → Only Accept or Reject
- In Rounds 6–10 → Final rounds, only Accept or Reject allowed
