The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially started the registration process for VITEEE 2026, the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination. Aspiring candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate engineering programs (B.Tech) at VIT’s campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati can now register online through the official website
The last date to apply for VITEEE 2026 is March 31, 2026. As per the official schedule, the VITEEE 2026 exam will be conducted from April 28 to May 3, 2026.
VITEEE 2026: Exam Duration and Pattern
The VITEEE 2026 exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. It will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer carries 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. Unanswered or “marked for review” questions will receive zero marks.
The total number of questions in the exam is 125, divided as follows:
- Mathematics/Biology – 40 questions
- Physics – 35 questions
- Chemistry – 35 questions
- Aptitude – 10 questions
- English – 5 questions
The VITEEE 2026 question paper will be available only in English.
VITEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2004, are eligible to apply for the exam. The date of birth mentioned in the High School or equivalent certificate will be treated as authentic proof. Students must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology from a recognized board.

- Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
- Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
VITEEE 2026 Result and Admission Process
