To apply for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 15 and 20 years of age as of October 21, 2025.
- Income Criteria: The annual family income should not exceed ₹5 lakh.
- Sports Performance: Candidates must have represented their sport at the state, national, or international level.
Applicants are required to submit valid documents, including:
- Sports achievement certificates
- Proof of age (such as birth certificate)
- Income certificate of parents (issued between April 1, 2025, and the last date of application)

- Fill out the online application form.
- Upload necessary documents, including certificates and proofs.

ONGC has clarified that applications submitted via post or other means will not be accepted. Providing false information or fake certificates may result in cancellation of the application and even legal action.
