The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially announced that the Round 2 NEET UG Counselling 2025 will begin on August 29, 2025. Candidates who could not secure a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade their allotment will now have the opportunity to participate in the second round of NEET UG 2025 counselling.
According to the official notice released by the MCC, the revised schedule for Round 2 NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be published soon on the official website, The notice stated: “In order to include newly authorized MBBS seats in Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025, the competent authority has decided to start the Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025 from 29th Aug., 2025 tentatively. However, the revised schedule for Round-2 will be published shortly.”
Earlier, the registration process for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 2 was scheduled to start on August 21, 2025, with the last date of application on August 26, 2025. However, the dates were revised in order to accommodate the inclusion of newly authorized MBBS seats for the academic session 2025–26. This decision comes shortly after the Round 1 NEET UG final seat allotment result 2025 was released on August 13, 2025.
