On the 90th birth anniversary of Shri Dhirubhai Ambani in December 2022, Mrs. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, announced an ambitious commitment to award 50,000 scholarships over 10 years. This visionary initiative is rooted in the belief that the best way to secure the nation’s progress is to invest in its youth. Since its inception, the Reliance Foundation Scholarship Programme has positively impacted the lives of over 28,000 students across India, making higher education more accessible and enabling young talent to thrive.
From 2022-2023 onwards, Reliance Foundation has been supporting 5,100 students annually through two flagship programmes – the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships and the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships. Together, these initiatives aim not only to provide financial support but also to nurture leadership, innovation, and professional development, ensuring that students contribute to India’s growth story.
RELIANCE FOUNDATION POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS 2025-26
The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships are designed to support 100 of India’s brightest postgraduate students in future-ready fields such as Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be resident Indian citizens.
- Be first-year PG students who have secured 550 – 1,000 in GATE OR scored 7.5 CGPA or above in their undergraduate degree.
- Be enrolled in eligible fields like Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering, Renewable & New Energy, Materials Science & Engineering, and Life Sciences.
Benefits
Each scholar will receive up to ₹6,00,000 over the duration of their programme. Beyond financial aid, scholars will gain access to mentoring, internships, workshops with global experts, volunteering opportunities, and a vibrant alumni network, empowering them to become change-makers in their fields.

Applicants must upload essential documents including resume, academic transcripts, GATE scorecard (if applicable), personal and statement of purpose essays, two reference letters, income proof, disability certificate (if applicable), and PAN & bank details.
RELIANCE FOUNDATION UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS 2025-26
The Undergraduate Scholarships support 5,000 meritorious first-year students annually from underprivileged backgrounds, studying any stream of their choice.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be resident Indian citizens.
- Have passed Class 12 with at least 60%.
- Be enrolled in the 1st year of a full-time degree programme (2025-26).
- Have a household income of less than ₹15 lakhs (preference given to families earning below ₹2.5 lakhs).
- Successfully attempt the mandatory aptitude test.
Ineligible candidates include those pursuing non-regular degrees, diploma holders, and students already in the second year or beyond.
Benefits
Selected students will receive up to ₹2,00,000 for the duration of their degree. In addition, scholars will benefit from networking and mentoring opportunities via the Reliance Foundation alumni network.
