NITI Aayog has opened recruitment for four distinct positions, each designed to tap into the potential of qualified professionals with varying levels of experience:
Young Professional
Young Professionals will play a vital role in policy research, program implementation, and data analytics. They are expected to bring innovative perspectives to national developmental challenges.
- Eligibility: Master’s degree or professional degree (BE/B.Tech/LLB/MBBS/CA/ICWA/PGDM)
- Age Limit: 32 years
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Remuneration: ₹70,000 per month
Consultant Grade 1
Consultant Grade 1 positions are ideal for individuals with specialized expertise in policy design, strategic planning, and project execution.
- Eligibility: Same as above
- Age Limit: 45 years
- Experience: 3–8 years
- Remuneration: ₹80,000 to ₹1,45,000 per month
Consultant Grade 2
These professionals will offer advanced technical and analytical expertise, working closely with policy teams on high-level strategic initiatives.

- Age Limit: 50 years
- Experience: 8–15 years
- Remuneration: ₹1,45,000 to ₹2,65,000 per month
Senior Consultant
Senior Consultants will provide strategic leadership across policy areas and serve as mentors for junior team members while guiding national developmental efforts.

- Age Limit: 62 years
- Experience: More than 15 years
- Remuneration: ₹2,65,000 to ₹3,30,000 per month
