The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially released the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 round 1 seat allotment results today, August 1, 2025. Candidates who took part in the first round of option entry can now check their allotment status by logging in with their CET number and date of birth through the official portal.
As this is the provisional round 1 allotment, KEA has clarified that students do not need to report to their allotted colleges at this stage. Instead, candidates who are dissatisfied with the provisional allotment can raise objections by emailing KEA at keauthority-ka@nic.in before 11 AM on August 2, 2025. The final seat allotment result for round 1 will be declared after considering these objections on the same day, August 2.
Candidates allotted seats in the final round 1 list will have to complete the seat acceptance process between August 4 and August 7, 2025. During this period, they are required to download the admission order, pay the admission fee, and report to the allotted colleges along with all necessary documents.
Seat allocation is based on the candidates’ KCET 2025 ranks, preferences entered during option entry, and availability of seats in participating institutions.

- Enter your CET number and date of birth
- Submit the details to view your allotment status
- Download and save the allotment letter for future reference
The KCET 2025 counselling process is being conducted for admissions into a variety of undergraduate programs, including engineering, architecture, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, farm sciences, and naturopathy and yoga, across government, aided, and private colleges in Karnataka.
The KCET 2025 option entry process was conducted from July 8 to July 29, and the mock allotment results were published on July 25.
