The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) 2025 and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) special rounds registration and choice-filling process have officially begun today, July 30, 2025, offering a crucial opportunity for students seeking admission to premier engineering, architecture, and planning institutes such as NITs, IIITs, and SPAs.
This counselling phase is not only open to foreign nationals and NRIs under DASA, but also to Indian students who were not allotted a seat during JoSAA 2025 counselling. Interested candidates can register online through the official CSAB portal at csab.nic.in.
For registration, students who had already participated in JoSAA counselling can log in using their JoSAA 2025 password. Those who did not take part in JoSAA can use their JEE Main 2025 password for access. The registration process also requires payment of a DASA Enrolment Fee (DAF) for DASA candidates and a Special Round Enrolment Fee (SREF) for others.
