Jio Launches “Starter Pack” Prepaid Plan with Unlimited 5G and Benefits Worth ₹2,600

Jio has officially rebranded its entry-level Unlimited 5G prepaid plan as the “Jio Starter Pack,” turning a one-time cricket-season promotional offer into a full-time bundled experience. This new prepaid plan aims to provide new users with high-speed connectivity, entertainment, and cloud benefits, all at a budget-friendly price.

Priced at ₹349, the Jio Starter Pack comes with 28 days validity, offering a comprehensive suite of features. The pack includes Unlimited Voice Calling, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB high-speed data per day, totaling 56GB of 4G data. After the high-speed limit, users can continue browsing with unlimited data at 64 Kbps.

One of the biggest highlights is Unlimited 5G data access, available for eligible users under the Jio True 5G network. This makes the pack one of the most affordable Unlimited 5G plans in the market today. Jio has also bundled several premium benefits that bring the total value of the plan to over ₹2,600, according to the company.

Among the notable offerings is a 90-day JioHotstar Mobile/TV subscription, which enables users to enjoy cricket matches and other premium content. However, the Hotstar benefit is a one-time, limited-period offer, and to continue availing it for the full 90 days, users must recharge their monthly plan within 48 hours of expiry.

Additional bundled features include JioAICloud with 50GB free cloud storage (worth ₹900), and JioHome Wi-Fi (via AirFiber or Fiber) with 50 days of complimentary service (valued at ₹1,111). These services aim to enhance the overall digital experience, making the Starter Pack an all-in-one solution for communication, entertainment, and cloud-based storage.

The Starter Pack is currently being offered to new users, especially those seeking a new Jio SIM connection. Jio’s strategy positions the pack not just as a telecom plan but as an entry point into Jio’s broader digital ecosystem.

With this move, Jio is clearly pushing to convert first-time users into long-term customers by providing a value-packed starter experience that covers data, voice, streaming, and storage—all at a price point that appeals to a wide base of digital-first users.
