University of Manchester GREAT Scholarships 2025-26 Applications Open

The University of Manchester, in collaboration with the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council, has opened applications for the prestigious GREAT Scholarships 2025-26. This initiative is aimed at supporting outstanding students from select countries who wish to pursue a postgraduate degree in the UK.

This year, the scholarships are available to students from Bangladesh, France, Greece, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam. Each selected candidate will receive a £10,000 scholarship, which will be applied toward their tuition fees for a postgraduate taught programme at the University of Manchester.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for the GREAT Scholarship 2025-26, applicants must:

• Be a resident of one of the listed eligible countries.
• Hold an offer letter for a postgraduate taught course at the University of Manchester.
• Have completed a bachelor’s degree from an institution in their home country or a specified nation.
• Be classified by the university as an international tuition fee-paying student.

• Meet the English language requirements as outlined by the university.
