Bangalore University: BCA ,BCom, BA and BSc Admissions 2025 Applications Open

Bangalore University, Karnataka, has released the admission notification for its undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2025–26. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following courses: Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Bachelor of Science (BSc).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Students seeking admission must have completed two years of Pre-University Course (PUC) or any equivalent examination with Arts, Science, or Commerce as optional subjects. A minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required to be eligible to apply. Admission will be based on merit and subject to availability of seats in each programme.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Candidates are required to submit a hard copy of the filled-in application form along with the necessary documents to the following address:

Office of the Coordinator, UG Programme, RUSA Building, Jnanabharathi Campus, Bangalore University, Bengaluru – 560056.

The last date for submission of applications is 15th May 2025. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained under any circumstances. It is advised to apply well in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

• Hostel facility is not available for students enrolling in the above-mentioned undergraduate programmes.
• Preference will be given to local students due to the lack of residential facilities.
• Applicants must attach all relevant documents, including PUC marks card, caste/income certificates (if applicable), and other supporting records, along with their application form.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR SC/ST STUDENTS

As part of its commitment to inclusive education, Bangalore University offers fee concessions for SC/ST students. Those whose annual family income is less than ₹2.5 lakhs and are eligible for the post-matric scholarship can gain admission without paying any compulsory fees at the time of admission. This is, however, subject to the submission of a valid Freeship Card. Any non-reimbursable fees or deposits must still be paid by the candidate.
