JKBOPEE: B Pharmacy & D Pharmacy admissions 2025 Applications Open

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the commencement of the online application process for admissions into B-Pharmacy, B-Pharmacy (Lateral Entry), and D-Pharmacy courses for the academic session 2025. These courses will be offered in both Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The admission will be based on performance in an Offline Common Entrance Test (CET).

KEY DATES & FEE DETAILS

• Application Fee: ₹1000 (payable through Net Banking, Debit, or Credit Card)
• Last Date to Apply: 22nd April 2025
• Tentative CET Date: 24th May 2025

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

B-Pharmacy (First Year)

• Must be a domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh (ST certificate accepted as domicile for Ladakh).
• Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December 2025
• Must have passed 10+2 with English, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as optional subjects.
• Students appearing in 10+2 exams in 2025 are eligible, subject to certificate submission at admission.

B-Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

• Domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.
• Must have passed D-Pharmacy from a Pharmacy Council of India-approved institute.

D-Pharmacy (Diploma Course)

• Domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.
• Maximum age limit: 35 years as on 31st December 2025
• Must have passed 10+2 with Science subjects (PCB or PCM) and English, securing:
  • 40% aggregate (Open Merit)
  • 35% aggregate (Reserved Categories)
• Students appearing in 10+2 exams in 2025 are eligible (certificate to be submitted at admission).

EXAMINATION DETAILS

• Exam Centres: Jammu and Srinagar

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (ORIGINALS)

• 12th Class Marksheet
• Matriculation Certificate (as proof of Date of Birth)
• Domicile Certificate / ST Certificate (for Ladakh applicants)
• Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Any other documents as specified by the respective institutions
