The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru—an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and accredited with NAAC ‘A’ Grade—has announced admissions for various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PG Diploma courses in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, and Special Education (Hearing Impairment) for the academic year 2025.
COURSES OFFERED
B.ASLP (Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology)
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed II PUC / 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in PCMB or similar combinations. Must have studied at least three subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, or Psychology.
M.Sc. in Audiology / Speech-Language Pathology
Eligibility: BASLP or B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
PGDAVT (Post Graduate Diploma in Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
Eligibility: Candidate with a graduate degree in Audiology /Speech-Language Pathology/Speech and Hearing, or Special Education (HI), or equivalent degree from any University and Candidate should have a valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India. Foreign nationals should produce evidence of professional registration in their home country
B.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impairment) [B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI)]
Eligibility: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, or B.E./B.Tech with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 50% (55% for Engg/Tech) marks.
M.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impairment) [M.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI)]
Eligibility: B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) or B.Ed. (HI) recognized by RCI or B.Ed. General + Diploma in Special Education (HI) with minimum 50% marks in both.
