The Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi, has officially invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to its prestigious postgraduate diploma and degree courses for the academic session 2025. COURSES OFFERED AND ELIGIBILITY

Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology

Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology (Medical & Social Psychology) from a UGC-recognized university.

M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology

Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC, ST & OBC) from a UGC-recognized university.

M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work

Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: Master’s degree in Social Work with at least 55% marks (50% for SC, ST & OBC) from a UGC-recognized university.

Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing

Duration: 1 year
Eligibility: ‘A’ Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION & ADMISSION PROCESS

Mode: All India Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Date: 27th June 2025

Centers: Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Ranchi.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CBT performance, followed by an interview round. The final merit list will consider both test scores and interview marks.

SCHOLARSHIPS
