KVS Admission 2025: Bal Vatika & Class 1 Registrations Now Open

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has commenced the admission process for the academic session 2025-26. The registration process for Bal Vatika 1, 3, and Class 1 started from 7^th March 2025, the last date for submitting applications is 21^st March 2025. Interested applicants can complete the admission process online

IMPORTANT ADMISSION DATES AND SELECTION PROCESS

The provisional list of selected and wait-listed candidates for Class 1 will be released on 25^th March  2025, while the list for Bal Vatika will be announced on 26^th March 2025. If seats remain vacant, the second provisional list will be published on 2^nd April 2025, followed by a third list on 7^th April 2025.

For students seeking admission to Class 1, the minimum age requirement is six years as of 31^st March 2025. The age criteria for Bal Vatika admissions are as follows:

• Bal Vatika 1: 3-4 years
• Bal Vatika 2: 4-5 years
• Bal Vatika 3: 5-6 years

Admissions will be conducted following the KVS Admission Guidelines 2025-26, ensuring proper reservation of seats as per government norms.

OFFLINE ADMISSIONS FOR BAL VATIKA 2 AND 3 & CLASS 2 ONWARDS

Unlike Bal Vatika 1 and Class 1, fresh admissions for Bal Vatika 2 and 3 will not be available online and must be completed through offline procedures. Similarly, admissions for Class 2 and above (except Class 11) will start on 2^nd April 2025, with registration closing on 11^th April 2025. Applicants must submit their filled admission forms to the respective school Principal’s office.

The first provisional list for Bal Vatika 2 and Class 2 onwards will be declared on 14^th April 2025,  The admission process for these classes will take place between 18^th April and 21^st April 2025. The final date for admission to all classes, except Class 11, is 30^th June 2025.

Required Documents for Admission

To complete the admission process, parents must provide the following documents:

• Recent passport-size photograph of the child
• Domicile Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Disability Certificate (if applicable)
• Birth Certificate of the child

Parents are advised to ensure all documents are ready before the application deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
